Making the Arrangements
When you ask VISITING ANGELS to provide care for your parent or other loved one, our first step is to find out as much as we can about that person’s needs.
We will ask you and other involved family members for details of his or her infirmities and medications, hygiene requirements, dietary restrictions, and sleep patterns, as well as personal preferences such as hobbies, music and pastimes.
If necessary, we will also consult with physicians, hospital nurses, social workers, or nursing home staff.
Next, we will work with you to develop an individualized program of daily care. Visiting Angels doesn’t impose a schedule on clients. We will adapt to whatever timetable you prefer for waking, bathing, eating, etc. In every aspect of our service, you are in charge.
After a caregiver has been placed in your home, we will continue our dialogue with you and will always be open to fine-tuning the arrangements or radically changing them according to circumstances.
